Thanks for getting your Gerv on!

Best wishes from Hannah Jane, Petunia, Gervais Jr., and Gervais. Thanks for reading and commenting here at Barbecue & Politics -- hope you've had as much fun as I have!

Take care,

Sorry to see ya go. Thanks for the laughs.

Make sure you drop in on some of the blogs from time to time. I've really enjoyed yours!

Please re-consider!

Our friends in the print media should be ashamed for not writing the kinds of stories you have.

Damn shame to see you go.

Your leaving?

Gervais,

I'm gonna miss you like crazy. Please continue lurking about the blogosphere, even if you're not penning posts. My daily blog-ritual won't be the same without you. Best of luck to you in the future. May the pork be with you!

Hey in all seriousness, the fact that the voices in Will Folks' head are getting together right now and saying "oh, thank God he's gone," should be enough to keep you at it.

Pretty please?

Unless you're leaving to manage Jakie's race. In which case, more power to ya.

Thanks for the humor, insight, and some real intellect.

Although I disagreed with more of your posts...they were funny as hell. Your photoshop is the best in the blogosphere!

Thanks For Many Laughs!

Gervais,

I appreciate the posts and hate to see you go. You have a knack for the storyline. Enjoy the family and Q. All the best.

This is my first morning offically without GSB. Somehow the sun does not shine as brightly, nor my coffee taste as strong.

Indeed these are sad times.

Still, lots of love to you and yours GSB. Good luck and do not be a stranger.

Hah Hah Hah. That was a funny joke. You got us. Way to pretend you were shutting down.

Now start posting again, damnit.

Seriously. So bored. Spending far more time on other blogs than is good for me, desperately seeking to fill the void. Light . . . growing dim . . .

At least promise that you'll send up a bat signal over the Statehouse to let us know when you're up and running again.

You haven't, I noticed, linked to the recent reports about Howard Rich's many charitable donagtions, including significaht donations to homeless advocacy organizations and a non-profit that buyd bulletproof vests for cops. Is this a partisanly-charged oversight, or did your older brother (Rod Junior) pressure you to not mention these?

I thought your Op Ed piece in today's State was really well done. You sure you don't want to come back and write here?

Please????

See "Monster Stomping the States" (http://www.tompaine.com/articles/2006/09/22/monster_stomping_the_states.php), which left out the state of South Carolina and the topic of education. I sent a correction, directing the author here.

(and hurry back to blogging)
