Update on Iacovelli
The name and photo of Karen Iacovelli, the Sanford appointee to the EOC who declared, “I proclaim publicly that I favor ending government involvement in education,” no longer appears on the member page of Education Oversight Committee website.
Her bio (PDF) is still available on the EOC site, as well as her subcommittee assignment(PDF).

Perhaps Gervais could take her place on the "Public Awareness" subcommittee.
actually, her bio and committee assignmnent are gone too. You must have really gotten to fred and lamont this time.
isn't resigning for health reasons the way we in the palmetto state let women resign from appointed offices and elected office to avoid the shameful fate of your fired or you aren't going to get reelected?
Actually, Palmetto Voice, the word is that she resigned per the instructions of the governor. "Health reasons" is a popular excuse, but is just that-an excuse.
And as Stanley says to Oliver, "Well isn't this another fine mess you've gotten us into." The comedy continues. If only the voters were more aware. We do get the elected and appointed officials we "collectively" deserve. (D#$% it!)
