Bustos, McDaniel, Millwood: Bankrolled by Rich

Any psychic could have told you on June 10^th that Joe Bustos, Annie McDaniel, and Joey Millwood got 55%, 85%, and 65% of their campaign contributions, respectively, from New York millionaire Howard Rich and his associates.

Unfortunately, most South Carolinians suffer from a lack of clairvoyant abilities, and only about $6,000 of the $80,000 in out-of-state contributions below was disclosed to voters before the primary election.

Some people might say this sort of last minute cash infusion is an abuse of our campaign finance rules, purposely designed to keep voters from knowing whether a narrow special interest is exerting excessive influence on local political races.
